We will visit the lush Ourika Valley and the many small villages along the valley. We continue to Setti Fatma where you can enjoy the delicious local cuisine and a short walk along the waterfalls.
Pick up at the hotel or Riad where you are staying and start of the excursion to the Ourika Valley. In the heart of Berber country, the Ourika Valley remains one of the most beautiful and best preserved valleys in Morocco, the small villages clinging to the flanks of the massifs, the waterfalls and rocky landscapes that blend with the omnipresent desert, all this forms a wild and seductive harmony in the confines of the Western Atlas.
On the excursion from Marrakech to the Atlas you can visit the Berber souk every Monday, Thursday and Friday, and we propose a visit to the Botanical Garden, and another visit to a Berber house, which opens the door for you and invites you to see the way of preparing traditional bread, and to drink a Moroccan tea.
When we arrive at the village of Setti Fadma, we can – if you wish – provide you with the service of a local guide who will show you the waterfalls inside the mountains. At the end, you can have lunch in a local restaurant, facing the river, which prepares Moroccan cuisine (approximately €10/menu). Afterwards, return to Marrakech around 5 pm.
