9 Day M’Goun Trek | High Atlas Adventure & Summit Ascent

9 Day M'Goun Trek INFO:
DAY 1: MARRAKECH – AGOUTI
Pick up at Marrakech Airport and departure to Agouti, from where we will start the route. Here you will meet the staff who will accompany you throughout the route (cook, guide and porters). Lunch on the way. Accommodation and dinner at a family home in Agouti.
DAY 2: AGOUTI – TARKEDDIT REFUGE
Breakfast at a family home and we head to the Tarkeddit Refuge. Lunch on the way. Accommodation and dinner at the Refuge.
DAY 3: TARKEDDIT REFUGE – M´GOUN SUMMIT – TARKEDDIT REFUGE
Tarkeddit. Breakfast at the refuge early in the morning and then climb to the summit of M´Goun. After contemplating the magnificent views, we return to the Tarkeddit Refuge for lunch. Accommodation and dinner at the refuge.
DAY 4: TARKEDDIT REFUGE – AGOUTI
Breakfast at the refuge and return to Agouti. Lunch on the way. Accommodation and dinner at a family home in Agouti.
DAY 5: AGOUTI – OUARZAZATE
Breakfast at a family home and transfer to Ouarzazate where you will visit the Kasbahs, film studios and valleys. Free lunch. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.
DAY 6: OUARZAZATE – TAROUDANT
Breakfast at the hotel and leaving Ouarzazate we visit the Ait Ben Haddou Valley and its famous Kasbah. Free lunch. We continue the road to Taroudant. We make a short visit to the artisan town of Taroudant. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel
DAY 7: TAROUDANT – SIDI IFNI
Breakfast at the hotel and we leave for Sidi Ifni via Tiznit. Free lunch. We arrive at Sidi Ifni (the Atlantic coast). You can take a sightseeing tour of this city and we recommend you take a quad bike excursion. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.
DAY 8: SIDI IFNI – ESSAUIRA
Breakfast at the hotel and we leave for Essaouira along the entire Atlantic coast. We arrive at Essaouira. You can take a sightseeing tour of the city and enjoy the beach and the tasty fresh fish at the port. Accommodation and dinner at the Riad.
DAY 9: ESSAUIRA – CASABLANCA
Breakfast at the riad and we leave for Casablanca. Free lunch. Visit the city until the time of transfer to the airport.
This route, like the others, can be adapted to your taste, for example you can also finish the route again in Marrakech instead of Casablanca.
Necessary equipment for the ascent of M’Goun: Warm jacket, a good sleeping bag, first aid kit and travel insurance.
